I chose to utilize a design based on rice fields, agricultural landscapes and topographic maps as an abstract but also sentimental homage to the respective cultures of my and my business partner at GRVTY. ByBorre’s textiles provide the designer the unique ability of creating “3D” patterns on the fabric and I relished in being able to bring the design to life in a way the viewer can also feel.
